TAIYUAN, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) — China on Friday launched a Long March-6 carrier rocket to place a group of 10 commercial satellites in space.
The Geely-03 constellation consisting of 10 satellites was lifted at 2:30 a.m. (Beijing Time) from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China’s Shanxi Province and entered the preset orbit.
The launch marks the 534th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series. ■
